Abstract (EN)
Objective: This research has been carried out to compare and contrast the motor and pyhsical skills of the students who are hearing disabled and who are not, and also it is aimed to find out whether there is a meaningful difference in motor and physical skills of the students who are hearing impaired and who are not. The Materials and Method: There are 36 hearing impaired students from Akşemsettin Hearing Impaired Secondary School and 36 male students with hearing impairment who are studying at Battalgazi Vakıfbank Middle School, which provides education in the universities of Malatya and Battalgazi districts of Malatya. There wasn't any study carried out on control group but they were subjected to previously determined testes. The participating students were aged between 13-14. Euro Fit Physical Compliance Tests had been applied on the students before studies were started and the results were recorded accordingly. The study group was subjected to 8-week athletics training programme. Upon the 8-week athletics training programme, the same tests were applied on the students again and thus the results were recorded. The Findings: the findings regarding the data having been obtained from the research, statistical analyses were gained by using SPSS 16.00 packed programme. The flexibility between control group and study group, motoric skills such as balance and the significant differences in flexibility and balance, strength and motoric skills between values from primarily test and final test applied to hearing-disabled students have been studied on in the research. The Result: 8-week athletics training programme applied on hearing-disabled students has proved that the programme has positive effect on physical development of them according to the research carried out.
