Abstract (EN)
This research was conducted to determine the opinions of teachers, students and parents about home education. In the study, case study was used, which is one of the qualitative research methods. Working group of the research included 17 teachers working at home in Muş city center and central villages, 6 students studying at home and their parents, In the 2018-2019 academic year. As a data collection tool, semi-structured interview forms developed by the researcher were used. Developed semi-structured forms composed of 12 questions for teachers, 5 questions for parents and 9 questions for students. Content analysis method was used in the analysis of the qualitative data obtained. As a result of the research, it was found out that the majority of teachers were assigned by the National Education to give home education and some of them chose to give home education at their own will. It is concluded that Teachers generally prefer teaching through presentation, they allows the student to feed and play games, watch cartoons, relax and do activities like this. It was concluded that teachers mostly use tools such as notebooks, books, pencils, small blackboards, and they measure the students' learning level with question and answer method at the end of each lesson or once a week. It was concluded that some of the teachers achieved the targeted gains in the education program and some of them could not. It was concluded that some of the teachers stated that undergraduate education had a positive effect on home education and some did not. It was found out that there are problems in home education due to family, school, teacher, student and home conditions. According to this, it was determined that procurement of tools and materials, forming school-teacher-student interaction, ensuring socialization of the student, informing the parent in advance, teacher protection of authority, creation of appropriate classroom environment, to make the student physically ready for the lesson, minimizing the intervention of the family in the education process, show understanding to family members, providing family support in education, pre-training of the teacher, preparing additional resource books for special education students, suggestions such as increasing the motivation of the student were made. At the same time, it was found out that the teacher offered education in his / her own branch, that the child went to school at certain times of the day, making the home conditions convenient, providing regular and disciplined education, and making necessary audits for the teachers. It was concluded that the home environment, parents, students, school had positive and negative effects, Guidance Research Center did not play an active role in the education process at home and only directed to the Directorate of National Education so that the student could receive education at home. It was concluded that teacher-parent-student interaction was generally good. With this result, it was concluded that some of the teachers considered themselves sufficient for home education, some of them thought they were inadequate and the teachers gave more importance to the pivotal courses. Another result of the study is that the student's special situation adversely affects home education. It was found that home education had positive and negative effects on the development of cognitive, social and psychomotor skills of the child. It was revealed that some of the students were dissatisfied with studying at home because of their inability to go to school like their peers, lack of friends, not being able to go to the canteen, experiencing boredom and breathing, while others were pleased to be educated at home due to the quiet environment of the home. It was also concluded that they liked Music, Turkish, Painting and English for reasons such as singing, being easy, painting, having fun and being successful. It was concluded that the students did not like the pivot lessons in general and were pleased to have one-to-one training with the teacher. In the course, students mostly use tools such as pencils, boards, notebooks, books, erasers and the problems they face during their education at home are revealed. According to this, the students stated that they could not be with their peers, lack of tools and materials, difficulty in doing homework, not being able to breathe, not going to school and the problems caused by the disease and having the educational equipments in the home environment, being involved in the education in the school, It was revealed that they offered solutions such as repeating, inviting friends to special occasions such as birthdays, getting the opportunity to spend time with their peers, facilitating homework and going to the park.
