Abstract (EN)
This study was conducted to determine the caregiving burden of primary caregiver patient relatives and related factors. The fact that home caregivers leave their own health and needs aside and spend all their energies on the care of their patients causes their own lives to be negatively affected. During the treatment process, the areas of need such as developing positive health behaviors, increasing self-care powers, strengthening the psychosocial support network, receiving counseling services, and in order to be supported in these areas, first of all, the burden of care and related factors should be determined. Thus, it will be easier for the patient to cope with the caregiver during the treatment and care process, and it will cause less wear for both the patient and the caregiver.
