Özet (EN)

This study aimed to examine the relationship between conflict resolution styles and cognitive emotion regulation strategies and marital adjustment in married individuals. The data in the study was obtained using the Personal Information Form prepared by the researcher, as well as the Conflict Resolution Styles in Romantic Relationships Scale (CRS), Dyadic Adjustment Scale (DAS) and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Scale (CERS). The sample of the research was conducted with a total of 400 participants, consisting of 297 married women and 103 men aged 25 and over. Various analyzes have been conducted to evaluate the impact of conflict resolution styles and cognitive emotion regulation strategies on marital adjustment. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the effect size of positive and negative conflict resolution styles on marital adjustment was higher than cognitive emotion regulation strategies. The findings obtained as a result of the research were examined together with other studies in the literature.
