Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between marital satisfaction, psychological well-being and domestic violence levels in married women with convenience sampling. Therefore, the sample of this research is consist of 100 married women who live in Bodrum. Bodrum is a small but compelling town which belongs to the city Muğla in western Turkey. Socio-Demographic Information Form, Marital Satisfaction Scale, Psychological Well-Being Scale and Domestic Violence Scale were used to collect the data. Chi-square test, Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and Spearman correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data. As a result of the research, it was determined that marital satisfaction levels perceived by women do not differ according to age, educational status, friendship duration till marriage, marriage style and having child but differ according to place where they live, duration of marriage and number of children. It was determined that the psychological well-being levels of the women do not differ according to age, educational status, duration of marriage, friendship duration till marriage, marriage style, child ownership, number of children but differ according to the place where they live. It was determined that the level of domestic violence experienced by women do not differ according to age, place where they live, friendship duration till marriage, marriage style, child ownership but education, duration of marriage, number of children.
