The effect of interventions of family members of spouses on experiencing marriage conflicts

The main aim of the study is to examine the place of spouses' interventions in marriage in marriage conflicts. The study focuses on the causes of the problems experienced by the spouses of the individuals with their family members and the reflection of these problems on the relationships between the spouses. In the scope of the research, in-depth interviews were conducted with a total of 34 people, consisting of bride, groom, mother-in-law and father-in-law who were living in Elazığ. In this study, it was determined that the interventions of spouses' family members in marriage, especially in the early stages of marriage, are important reasons for conflicts between the spouses and even the decision of divorce, reduce the harmony and happiness in the marriage and the problems arising from the family interventions were perceived differently by the bride, groom, mother-in-law and father-in-law.
