Abstract (EN)

This study was performed using a laboratory scale membrane test system (GE-Osmonics SEPA CF II) at Chemical Engineering, Department of Ege University and a small pilot scale spiral wound nanofiltration (NF)/reverse osmosis (RO) test system installed at İTOB-OSB Treatment Plant. In this study, the applicability of treatment methods such as NF and RO for reuse of wastewater treated with Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) process was investigated. In order to treat MBR effluent with NF-200 and CK RO membranes, Sepa CF II (GE- Osmonics) membrane test system was employed and quality analysis of product water was performed. The performance of NF-270 and BW-30 membranes were investigated using batch and continuous tests.
