Özet (EN)
This thesis consists of four essential parts which investigate the mechanical behavior of rehabilitated reinforced concrete haunched beams (RCHBs) and rehabilitated reinforced concrete corbels (RCCs) in addition to the behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete haunched beams (SF RCHBs). The main objective of the first and second part are to investigate the behavior of reinforced concrete haunched beams after being rehabilitated by Basalt Fiber Fabric (BFF) and Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) Fabric. These parts consist of two studies; experimental and the finite element (FE) modeling studies. The experimental study consists of loading tests of 24 different rehabilitated RCHBs which had failed in shear and flexural mode beforehand. In the second study, a new FE based technique is proposed to form a zone that exhibits all possible load capacities of rehabilitated RCHBs. The results show that there is a nearly perfect agreement between tested RCHBs and the maximum limit of strengthened RCHBs regarding ultimate load capacity. The main objective of the third part of this thesis is to investigate the effectiveness of the steel fiber, which is used to resist shear loads instead of stirrups, on the mechanical behavior of RCHBs. Moreover, effects of main steel reinforcement, compressive strength, and the inclination angle of RCHBs on the behavior of steel fiber reinforced concrete haunched beams (SF RCHBs) are researched in this part. 81 FE models were prepared for this purpose. The parametric study was carried out to clarify the effect of each parameter on the behavior of SF RCHBs. Parametric results show that the effective inclination angle of the haunched beam is 10º regarding shear load capacity. The last part of this thesis investigates the behavior of normal and self-compacted steel fiber reinforced concrete corbels (SF RCCs) rehabilitated by Basalt Fiber Mesh (BFM) and Basalt Fiber Fabric (BFF). The experimental program includes totally 60 corbels. Test results show that there is no any increase in load capacity of the RC corbels rehabilitated by BFM without crack repair. Moreover, it can be concluded that the use of BFF is an effective and powerful technique for the rehabilitation of damaged RC corbels.
