Farabi's naturalistic philosophy

The concept of nature is one of the important subject in the history of philosophy. In fact till now the continuation of God-universe relationship's, occurrence-disruption's, change's discussion, discussion about the knowable or the unknowable of the unseen, discussion about the natural world's reality and its components' reality, it's purpose, it's situation and many other issues are directly linked to the natural field. Even though Farabi is well-known for his thoughts and theories in the logic and political field he is also has an important figure in matter of asset and knowledge. Therefore this study aims to reveal how Fârâbî analyzes and resolved the problems and questions in his philosophy of nature. In this work natural philosophy shall be firstly analyzed through Aristotle's Physics book. Secondly within the scope of Fârâbî's Al-Madinatul Fadhilah and Al-Siyasatul Madaniyyah works natural world's component with its formation and finally human being shall be discussed. This work shall be end with a general conclusion which will show the method by which Farabi had revealed and developed the natural philosophy.
