Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine compensatory growth of juvenile rainbow trout held in different fasting time conditions in Tanoba trout facilities in Erbaa districh Tokat province. In this study, 1800 trout fry which is 12,864±0,073gr in average weight were stocked in 150 trout fish (330liter) ponds with 3 replications in 4 groups. Four different feding regimens were applied to the rainbow trout fry in a cycle of 60 days. 1 group was hungry one day but full for one day, hungry for two days but full for 8 days (3 cycles). Group 3 was hungry for 3 days and full for 12 days (3 cycles). Group 4 was fed continuously. At the enf of the experiment, it was observed that survival and mortalith rates had no nagative effect. When we look at the specific growth rates, it was observed that the fish in the 4th group showed better performance and statistically significant differences (P> 0.05). On the other hand, the fish in the third group showed compensatory growth. It was found that the feed evalution ratio (FCR) was 0,839 in the fırst group and statistically different from the other groups.
