Özet (EN)

In this study; it was investigated the effects the use of amino acids (AA) that the primary products of inorganic assimilation and the precursors of proteins, on salt tolerance in guar (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba (L.) Taub.). This study was carried out according to randomized plot design with three replicates. In research; control, NaCl (150 mM NaCl), NaCl + 300 mg L -1 AA, NaCl + 600 mg L -1 AA, NaCl + 1200 mg L -1 AA, NaCl + 1800 mg L -1 AA applications were applied to guar plant. When the symptoms of salinity stress were observed in plants, differences among the treatments were evaluated in terms of physiological and morphological parameters. The results showed that, NaCl treatments led to 41-87% reduction in morphological and physiological parameters in comparison to control plant. Additionally, it was determined that amino acid application increased growth components of the plants such as fresh weight, dry weight, shoot length, and shoot diameter, plant leaf number and area, which were under salt stress. When compared to the control; the growth rate increased by 39-392% while 600 mg l-1 was found to the most effective amino acid dose to decrease stress effect.
