Özet (EN)

Among the weeds, holo parasite broomrape species are the main pests in sunflower cultivation, In sustainable sunflower cultivation, it is very important to grow broomrape species and herbicide-resistant sunflower varieties. Among the hybrid sunflower varieties, there are varieties that are resistant only to herbicides with the active ingredient imazamox and tribenuron methyl. The use of these herbicides on susceptible sunflower varieties causes the death of the plants. This study was carried out to determine the restorer sunflower lines genetically resistant to Broomrape and herbicides with to broomrape and imazamox and tribenuron methyl between 2019-2020. The study was carried out in the greenhouse and experimental research area of the Eastern Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute thirty restorer (male) sunflower lines which have advanced generation stage were tested against to resistance of Broomrape in greenhouse conditions. Add 1300 restorer (male) sunflower lines were also tested for determining resistant to Broomrape and some herbicides with active ingredients imazamox and tribenuron methyl under greenhouse and field conditions The results show that broomrape seeds collected from sunflower production areas did not infect the faba bean, lentil and tomato plants, and 3 lines within 30 restorer sunflower lines were found to be resistant to Broomrape. Among 1300 restorer sunflower lines, it was determined that 261 lines were resistant to Broomrape, 434 lines were resistant to imazamox while 269 lines were resistant to tribenuron methyl.
