Özet (EN)
In the clinical practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery, tooth deficiencies can be eliminated with dental implants and prostheses made in the carrier of implants. Primary stability is one of the most important conditions for both successful osseointegration and immediate loading. The aim of our study is to evaluate the primary stabilization of dental implants that we will place by applying different surgical methods to areas with dense cancellous bone tissue (D3-D4 bone). In this study, the bone tissue obtained from the abattoir animal was evaluated densitometrically by cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) and implant sockets were created in regions with similar bone density. In line with this planning, dental implants were placed with 3 different surgical techniques: narrow-diameter drilling group (n=7), standard drilling group (n=7) and neck-opening drilling group (n=7). Biomechanical tests (insertion and removal torque) and primary stabilization values were measured on the placed implants by resonance frequency analysis (RFA). According to the results of these measurements, the primary stability values of the narrow-diameter drilling group and the standard milling group were found to be statistically significantly higher than the neck-opening milling group (p<0.05). As a result, it is thought that the use of countersinking burs in D3-D4 bone types reduces the primary stability of the implant. Keywords: dental implant, primary stability, insertion torque, removal torque, RFA
