Abstract (EN)
Aim: The purpose of this research, the aim of this study is to determine the effect of "BOR" movement performed with different resistance equipment on the activity of some selected muscles. Material and Method: Seventeen participants were included in the study. Electromyography measurements were made in order to evaluate the activation of the muscles determined during the exercise applications. "IBM SPSS 23.0" was used for data analysis. Significance level was accepted as p<0.05. Results: In terms of equipment differences, it was observed that the activation of LD and LG muscles in the whole motion analysis of CW pronation grip is higher. Also, the activation of LG and MF muscles was higher in descending phase of YG pronation grip in favor of the OB (p<0.05). In terms of different grip of movement, there was a high level of significant difference in OB CW grip difference for UT, PD, LT and LG in favor of pronation; for LD in favor of supination. In EB CW grip difference, there was significancy for UT, PD and LT in favor of the pronation; for BB and LD in favor of the supination (p<0.05). In terms of grips of different widths of the movement; it was observed that there was a significant difference in favor of WW for UT, PD, LT and MF muscles in OB pronation width difference. A significant difference was found in favor of WW for LG and MF muscles in EB pronation width difference (p<0.05). In terms of phase difference; significant results were obtained in favor of descending phase for BB, PD and LT muscles, in favor of ascending phase for MF muscle in OB CW pronation grip phase difference. Also, significant results were obtained in favor of descending phase for BB, PD, LT and LD muscles, in favor of ascending phase for LG and MF muscles in EB CW pronation grip phase difference (p<0.05). Conclusion: In strength training, which is one of the basic motoric features, knowing the activation of the muscles is important in order to activate the muscles more efficiently in exercise and training planning.
