Abstract (EN)

When constructs are designed, their purpose of use, economic conditions and seismicity of the region where they are built have a significant effect on the cost of construction. Our country is a country that is exposed to continuous earthquakes on the fault lines that are active in the world and faces the earthquake reality. Because of this, earthquakes, used building systems and building usage purposes affect construction costs considerably. Countries affected by the earthquake hazard in order to construct the construction depression are using their own regulations including the minimum conditions. Accordingly, countries within the European Community use Eurocode 8, which is the norm that includes the conditions for the design of tough durable structures to ensure coexistence. The Eurocode 8 depression contains general conditions for construction of durable construction. In areas with high seismic intensity, some earthquake parameters according to Eurocode 8 have been left to the national authorities. Earthquake regulations used in our country and Eurocode 8 have great similarities in terms of the philosophy of the durable structure design. In this study, firstly the effect of building importance coefficient, earthquake zone, floor system change and building coefficient change on the building cost were investigated. Secondly, the comparison of the metric and the cost of a system with SDY reinforced concrete frame according to Eurocode 8 and TDY 2007 regulations design conditions according to two different package programs. The most cost-effective flooring system is a beamed flooring system, while the most costly flooring system is a beamless flooring with a cost increase of about 20% compared to a beamed flooring. Between the most important structure and the most insignificant structure in the importance coefficient of the building, in all the flooring systems, there was not a significant shot in the quantity of the concrete with the mold, but the amount of the reinforcement increased by 10-17%. In the change of earthquake zone, between 1st and 4th degree earthquake zones, there is an increase of about 10-30% especially in reinforcements. In the second part of the thesis which compares the costs according to the regulations, the cost of the building calculated according to Eurocode 8 is higher than calculated according to our directive. Eurocode 8 is a more comprehensive regulation than our regulation in terms of depression-resistant calculations of reinforced concrete buildings.
