Abstract (EN)
Infill walls have positive contributions in reinforced-concrete structures under the impact of earthquakes. Infill walls used as partition separators in reinforced-concrete structures can be constructed from different materials. Within the scope of this study, the effect of the infill wall material change on the structural performance has been examined in detail. In this context, structural analyses were carried out in a reinforced-concrete structure selected as an example, taking into account three different infill wall materials such as pumice, brick wall and gas concrete. The results obtained for the structural models created for each material type were compared. Cost analyses were also carried out for the infill wall material replacement. With this study, the effect of the wall material difference on both the structural analysis and the cost of the building was tried to be revealed. Within the scope of this study, structural analyses were made for the bare reinforced-concrete frame that did not contain any infill walls, and the contribution of the infill wall was tried to be determined.
