Abstract (EN)

This research was carried out in 2018 in Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Agriculture Agricultural Application and Research Center in three replications according to the randomized blocks divided plots trial pattern. In the study, it was aimed to determine the effects of buckwheat on grass yield and quality in four different sowing periods (15 April, 1 May, 15 May, 1 June) and three different harvest periods (flowering, milk ripening and dough maturation periods) using the sun buckwheat variety as plant material. In the study, values for plant height, stem diameter, leaf ratio, stem ratio, bunch ratio,freshherb yield, dry matter yield, crude protein ratio (%), crude protein yield (kg / da) properties were investigated.According to the result obtained from the study; plant height 81,01-35,06 cm, stem diameter5,21-3,84, leaf ratio %48,30-19,80, bunch ratio %26,47-10,44, stem ratio %58,78-42,78, fresh herb yield 2516,7- 906,11 kg/da, dry matter yield 431,97-145,96 kg/da, crude protein ratio %21,88-10,57 and crude protein yield62,49-27,23 kg/da. For the cultivation of buckwheat Güneş variety in Bursa conditions; period can be recommended both productive and quality herb production, the application of May 1 sowing time x dough stage.
