Özet (EN)

Stability analyzes are examined with the help of simulation programs in the continuous, economical and reliable operation of multi-machine power systems. One of the most common stability analysis in power systems is small signal stability. In this thesis, small signal stability analysis was investigated in a 4-machine 2-field test system. The simulation study was carried out in the Power Systems Analysis Program (PSAT). Small signal stability analyzes of the power system were carried out by using Automatic Voltage Regulator (AVR), Power System Stabilizer (PSS) and Turbine Governor (TG) models in the synchronous generators used in this test system. Moreover, small signal stability analysis was investigated with a Double Fed Induction Generator (DFIG) based wind turbine, which was added instead of one of the synchronous generators in the power system. In addition, the stability analysis was made by adding Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) to the power system. In the 4-machine 2-field test system, synchronous generator angular velocity changes, active-reactive power changes and bus voltage changes were examined in detail. In small signal stability analysis, system operating regions, dominant machines, eigenvalues, oscillation frequency, damping ratios and participation factor values are presented in tables. As a result of the findings, effective results have been reached in small signal stability analysis by using AVR, PSS, TG, DFIG based wind turbines and SOFC.
