Abstract (EN)

In this study, 13 endemic plant species growing in different habitats (gypsum, limestone, serpentine) within the borders of Erzincan were studied with gypsum (Gypsophila lepidioides Boiss., Psephellus recepii Wagenitz & Kandemir, Tanacetum heterotomum (Bornm.) Grierson, Verbascum alyssifolium Boiss.), limestone (Chrysophthalmum montanum (DC.) Boiss, Cyclotrichium niveum (Boiss.) Manden. & Scheng, Phlomis oppositiflora Boiss. & Hausskn, Teucrium leucophyllum Montbret & Aucher ex Bentham) serpentine (Convolvulus pseudoscammania C. Koch., Fumana aciphylla Boiss., Gladiolus halophilus Boiss. & Heldr., Hypericum thymbrifolium Boiss & Noé, Salvia indica L.). The plants were divided into different organs as leaves, branches and roots, and phenolic (TPC) and flavonoid (TPF) content and antioxidant activity (DPPH, FRAP) analyzes were performed in these organs. Analysis results were processed in SPSS 22 Statistical Package Program and differences were found between plants growing in habitats. A strong correlation was found between the phenolic and flavonoid contents of plants and their antioxidant activities. As a result, it was pointed out that the phenolic, flavonoid content and antioxidant activities of plants grown in different ecological conditions showed significant variability.
