Özet (EN)

As in all the sectors that are developing rapidly, quality and production speed (efficiency) are important in the textile sector as well. Especially quality in export has been the foreground. Although the conditions of the weaving hall are important for the weaving efficiency and quality production, the quality of the yarns coming from the preparation of the warp is also important. All warp threads must be sized for a quality warp and efficient weaving operation. In this study, different sizing processes were compared and analyzed in order to determine the effects of the sizing process on size pick-up and weaving productivity. Within the scope of the study, yarn quality, fabric quality, size pick-up ratios and weaving efficiency of sized yarns with three different sizing systems (single box sizing, double box sizing and pre-wet sizing) were tried to be evaluated. For this reason, 3 different types were studied and sizing processes were analyzed with different size recipes, different sizing standards. By evaluating the results obtained, the effects of sizing process on yarn quality, fabric quality, size pick-up ratio and weaving efficiency were investigated.
