Abstract (EN)

In this study, the marginal and internal fit of crown restorations fabricated using three different intraoral scanners (Trios 5, Medit i600, and Primescan) and two permanent 3D printable composite resins (Saremco CrownTec and VarseoSmile Crown Plus) were evaluated comparatively using micro-computed tomography (micro-CT). The restorations were digitally designed with dental software and produced using DLP-based 3D printing systems. Sectional measurements were performed on transversal, frontal, and sagital planes, and the data were statistically analyzed using two-way ANOVA. The level of significance was determined using the Tukey test (p<0.05). The results indicated that both the type of scanner and the resin had a statistically significant effect on the marginal and internal fit. Among the tested combinations, Primescan demonstrated superior fit, while VarseoSmile showed lower marginal gap values overall. These findings suggest that the choice of intraoral scanner and printing resin are critical parameters influencing the clinical success of permanent restorations fabricated via additive manufacturing.
