Özet (EN)
In this study, effects of different yarn structures and properties, produced with ring, compact, open-end rotor and vortex spinning systems, on the color efficiency of package dyeing were investigated. For this purpose, 100% carded ring, compact and open-end yarns and 100% combed ring, compact, open-end and vortex yarns with different yarn counts which were used from the same raw material blend were produced and wound to perforated plastic dye tubes (cones) according to the principle of loose winding (package density; 370 g/dm3) and the physical properties of the yarns were tested. The bobbins were dyed with reactive dye for three different dyebath concentrations in the universal package dyeing machine. CIELab (L*, a*, b*, c* ve h) values, color differences (?E) and color strength (K/S) values of dyed yarns were measured by the spectrophotometer. Various statistical test and analyses (K-S and Runs test, Variance, regression and correlation analyses) applied to the data obtained using the SPSS package programme and available regression models were constituted to predict the color strength (K/S) values. In conclusion, it was determined that vortex and rotor spun yarns have darker shades with respect to ring and compact spun yarns. The effect of yarn count, water absorption ability, package hardness, yarn hairiness and unevenness values on color was found to be significant.
