Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to investigate the treatment activities of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in colitis induced by acetic acid application in rats. In this study, it was tried to determine the curative effect of Pseudomonas aeruginosa as a probiotic in experimentally induced colitis in rats and on the intestinal mucosa. For this reason, four groups were formed randomly and equally, with a total of 24 Wister female rats, control and 3 treatment groups, with six animals in each. The first group was allocated as the control group. The second group received 1 ml of Pseudomonas aeruginosa daily for two weeks, the third group received 1 ml of acetic acid on the side of the anus, and the fourth group received both Pseudomonas aeruginosa and acetic acid. In our results, it has been determined that probiotics are effective in the treatment of intestinal disorders such as inflammation and diarrhea as a result of the use of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In addition, lower ALB levels were observed in rats treated with acetic acid in our study. As a result of in vivo and in vitro examinations in our study, it was revealed that B. infantis administration played a protective role in AA-induced inflammation, apoptosis and oxidative damage. Accordingly, the decreasing colitis severity shows that the treatment is an effective treatment.
