Abstract (EN)

The resources in our country, which is very rich in terms of renewable energy resources, cannot be evaluated sufficiently. Compost has a very important place in terms of protecting the health of living things, preventing environmental pollution, reducing dependence on energy and foreign countries. The share of organic wastes in domestic solid waste is quite high in Turkey. Biomethanization and treatment together with other wastes will have a positive impact on the economy, as it is seen as a suitable method in terms of renewable energy production and ensuring the quotas applied by the European Union to organic wastes to be sent to landfills. Compost is a soil conditioner, not fertilizer. The dissolution of the substances contained in the compost, unlike chemical fertilizers, can only take place over a long period of time, and the positive effects of organic wastes on the yield and quality characteristics of plants have been determined in various studies carried out in studies conducted under different conditions. In the study, the quality of the product produced in the appropriate period in terms of some criteria was determined by comparing the effects on production, formation and temperature under different conditions. In the study, chemical properties (Moisture, pH) and microbiological analyzes (PDA, PCA, yeast-mildew were determined. According to the results of the experiment, it was concluded that the best quality of the product was the summer period (May-June).
