Abstract (EN)

In this study, 127 durum wheat genotypes from different groups (Turkish, foreign, genbank and growing) were investigated with regard to salt stress respond. The research was conducted in controlled conditions as two stages: Petri and hydroponic treatments. In petri treatments, 0-50-100 and 200 mM salinity concentrations were applied, germination and growth parameters were evaluated; in hydroponic treatments 150 mM saline solution was applied; growth parameters and mineral contents were analysed.The reductive activity of 100 and 200 mM salinity on germination and growth parameters was determined in petri treatments; C9 (foreign), Akçakale-2000 and Vatan (Turkish) genotypes were found tolerant and Zenit (foreign), Çeşit-1252 and Şölen-2002 (Turkish) found sensitive in score study with selected parameters. In hydroponic treatments growth parameter results, shoot and root K content, shoot Ca content, K/Na and Ca/Na ratios were reduced with salinity while shoot-root Na content, root Ca content and leaf symptom degree were increased. In this stage Nevigator (foreign), Uc.1113 (foreign) and TR 32015 –Malatya (genebank) genotypes were found resistant and Selçuklu-97, Eyyubi and Mirzabey-2000 (Turkish) genotypes found sensitive against salinity according to score study.
