Abstract (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the relationships between the HSP 60 and HSP 70 gene expression profiles of different aged goats in different seasons and some physiological stress parameters. 18 Saanen goats at different ages were used in this study. The goats were divided into three groups according to their age. Blood samples were taken in every season for HSP 60 and HSP 70 gene expressions. On the days when blood samples were taken, some physiological characteristics of the animals such as heart rate, respiration rate and rectal temperature were measured twice a day, morning and afternoon. In addition, live weights and body condition scores of the animals were taken in each season and the other effects that could cause stress, such as diseases and injuries, were taken into account as well. HSP 60 and HSP 70 mRNA expressions according to age groups and seasons were determined by the quantitative RT-PCR analysis method. When the gene expression levels were compared, HSP 60 expression levels for group 1 were found to be approximately 1.72 times higher in the winter than in the spring. And similarly, the expression level in the summer was 1.2 times higher than in the spring. When compared with the spring season, HSP 70 expression levels increased 1.68 times in the winter for group 1 and 1.5 times in group 2. HSP 70 expression levels were statistically insignificant between groups 1 and 2, but about 1.25 times higher than group 3. The parameters such as pulse rate, respiratory rate and rectal temperature were observed to be higher in the morning than in the afternoon. It was also seen that live weights increased with age. HSP 70 expression levels were statistically insignificant between groups 1 and 2 but about 1.25 times higher than group 3. It was observed that the parameters such as pulse rate, number of respiration and rectal temperature were higher in the morning than in the afternoon. It was seen that live weights increased with age. Key Words: Stres Proteinleri, HSP 70, HSP 60, Gen Ekspresyonu, physiological parameters, Saanen goat
