The relationship between sixth grade students who have different learning styles of teaching styles and success in science and technology

In this work, how the relationship between teaching styles of teachers and learning styles of students effects on success of science and tech of 6th grade students.25 teachers from 20 schools who work in state schools and private schools in Istanbul and their 693, 6th grade students are joined in the work.In 2007-2008 education period, the questionaire of education styles which measures teaching styles of teachers, the questionaire of learning styles of students and the test of success in science and technology which contains issues of spring period were practised.We have those results when we analyze the data which have been received:Points of students of different teachers who have different teaching styles are different in the average points of test of success in science and technology is seen.We can see that the success of students whose teachers have different teaching styles in science and technology test are different from one another.We can see that there is no difference in points of success of students who have different learning styles in science and technology.Tearchers who are of different teaching styles and points of success of their students who are of different learning styles there is no relationship between.Key Words: Teaching style, Learning style, Success in science and technology.
