Abstract (EN)

This study, six different nitrogen doses (0, 7,5, 15, 22,5, 30, 37,5 kg da-1) and pre- plant applications (maize+maize and pea+maize) were examined on DKC6724 hybrid maize varieties, was carried out in the experimental design of split plot in randomized complete block with tree replications in Bursa Kemalpaşa conditions in 2016 and 2017. According to the research results; In the first year, the longest plant height was taken from the pea pre-plant and 30 and 37.5 kg da-1 nitrogen dose, in the second year, In the second year, it was found insignificant in both applications. First ear height; in the first year, pea pre-plant gave a higher value, but nitrogen doses were insignificant and in the second year, both pre-plant and nitrogen doses were insignificant. Ear length; in the first year, the longest ear was determined as 30 kg da-1 and in the second year 22,5, 30 and 37,5 kg da-1 nitrogen doses. The effect of the pre-plant and nitrogen doses on the number of rows in the ear was insignificant. Kernel number in ear; in the first year, the highest value was obtained from pea pre-plants with 44,3 units, but nitrogen doses were insignificant, in the second year, pre-plant and nitrogen doses were insignificant. The effect of pre-plant and nitrogen doses on both the kernel number per ear and the number of ear per plant was insignificant in both years. The biggest ear diameter was taken from the pea pre-plant and 30 kg da-1 nitrogen dose in the first year, and in the second year, 22,5 and 30 kg da-1 nitrogen dose and the pea pre-plant. The nitrogen doses in both years had a positive effect on the thousand kernel weight, in the first year, the highest thousand kernel weight 7,5 kg da-1, 30 and 37,5 kg da-1 were taken from nitrogen doses. The highest seed yield was obtained from nitrogen doses of 30 and 37,5 kg da-1 both years. The effect of the pre-plant on seed yield was insignificant in both years. As a result; For high yield in hybrid maize varieties, 30 and 37,5 kg da-1 nitrogen doses and pea pre-plants can be recommended after cost analysis for Bursa and similar ecological conditions.
