Abstract (EN)

In this study, the investigations have been made on body forms on bogue (Boops boops L., 1758) individuals which captured different environmentals (culture and nature). Studies have been conducted in order to predict the possible basic selectivity parameters by evaluating the morphological characteristics of the bogue. Project studies were performed in three main stages as field, laboratory and simulation, respectively. A total of 111 bogue fish were captured from the marine environment. Captured fish have been transported to laboratory before deteriorating their morphological characteristics. Studies which are third stage, transferring data to FISHSELECT model, have been initiated after completing the second stage, laboratory studies. At the end of the current study, body forms, models and morphological characteristics of examined bogue fish which were captured from culture and nature environmetals have been determined. Body shape (CS) of bogue captured from culture and nature has been found as an "elipse" with FISHSELECT simulation studies. While CS1 model of bogue was "elipse" shape, CS2 model was "ship" shape. In conclusion, using of FISHSELECT software is recommended as a cheap and realistic method for estimating the parameters of selectivity of fishing gears and the improvement of the selectivity of fishing gear. In addition, selectivity on different mesh types has been tried with FISHSELECT software for fishing of commercial bogue.
