Abstract (EN)

This study aims to investigate the morphological characteristics of radish plants (Raphanus sativus L.) grown under salt stress and to determine the effects of humic acid and seaweed extract under these stress conditions. The study will be able to evaluate the negative effects of saline irrigation water applications on the root diameter, weight and leaf characteristics of radish plants and the role of seaweed extract and humic acid in increasing stress tolerance. The study aims to understand the mechanisms of tolerance to salt stress by using irrigation water with different salinity levels. It is aimed to find solutions to the negative effects of salinity stress on plant yield and growth with the use of humic acid. It is aimed that humic acid will increase the healthy development of radish plants by eliminating the negative effects of salt stress and thus provide significant benefits in terms of management and quality. In this context, it is possible to use humic acid as a strategy against salt stress. In addition, the potential of these biostimulants to reduce the negative effects of salt stress will be emphasized. The research will be carried out in the climate chamber of the Faculty of Agriculture at Yüzüncü Yıl University and it is stated that the results obtained will contribute to the development of innovative applications in agricultural production. In other words, the findings of the research will help to implement new strategies for improving agricultural management and production processes. In this context, it is aimed to present suggestions to increase agricultural yield and quality.
