Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of seven different soil tillage systems on plant growth, soil and plant parameters (mineral nutrient contents), mycorrhizal development and spore numbers were investigated. The experiment was established in Çukurova University Faculty of Agriculture Research and Application Farm on Arık soil series (TypicHaploxererts) in 2006 and the current study was carried out with wheat plant during 2018-2019. Seven tillage systems investigated included two conventional (CT-1 and CT-2), three reduced (RT-1, RT-2 and RT-3) and two no-till (NT and ST) including strategic/occasional tillage with tree replication as randomized blocks (21 blocks) experiment systems. Adana-99 variety was used as wheat material. Soil and plant samples were taken at tree sampling time (pre-sowing, blooming and at harvesting). Root and shoot dry weight, root infection, root diameter, specific root length and different plant parts (root, shoot and seed) nutrition's (C, N, K, P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Cu, Mn and Zn) concentrations were analyzed as plant tissues analyses. Average 40 parameters were analyzed for soil like CaCO3 and Soil Organic Carbon for understand soil and plant fertility. Data were determined using Principal Component Analysis and Dendogram methods. According to the research findings, when mycorrhiza spores increased, depend on different tillage systems, also root infections increased. In addition, plant C and N amount and K Mg and Ca nutrients were increase. No-till and reduced tillage practices have higher carbon content in soil and plant tissues than compared to conventional tillage practices. Mycorrhizal infection has highly correlated with biomass and nutrient content of grain. According to Dendogram analysis, reduced tillage and no tillage were found different from conventional tillage methods.
