Özet (EN)

This study was conducted for the purpose of screen of mycorrhizae dependency of some tomato genotypes that belong to different wild tomato species and different pepper genotypes with respect to some growth and development characteristics under glasshouse at two period. Plants were grown with mycorrhizae (G. etunicatum) and without mycorrhizae during 6 weeks. During the first period of study, 17 pepper genotypes (C. annuum L.) , 6 tomato genotypes which belong to wild tomato species, one industrial tomatoes cultivar and one standart tomatoes cultivar were used. During the second period of study, 14 pepper genotypes (same with first period) ,5 wild tomatoes genotypes, one industrial tomato cultivar and 1 standart tomato cultivars were used. Plant height (cm), shoot dry weight (g), root dried weight (g) and total plant dry weight (g) of tomato and pepper genotypes were measured and shoot P content were analized.Mycorrhizal dependency showed a signifinant variation between genotypes in pepper genotypes. Mycorrhizal dependency was obtained as 39,04-83,96 % during the first period of study and it was 20,90-56,83 % during the second period of study. A300 and A287 numbered genotypes had the highest mycorrhizal dependency. Root mycorhizal infection ratios were determined as average 48,04 % during the first period, during the second period as 47,68 %.Tomato genotypes also have signifinant variation in mycorrhizal dependency. Mycorrhizal dependency was obtained as -25,03-53,17 % at first period and as -35,36-36,92 % at second period. TA496 (industrial cultivar) numbered genotip and LA 1589 (L. pimpinellifolium) had the highest mycorrhizal dependency for two periods.Datas obtained from this study showed that there are a signifinant variation with regard to mycorrhizal dependency among pepper and tomato genotypes. In addition, pepper plants are more dependent to mycorrhizae than tomato as this study. As this results, genotypes that have to high mycorrhizal dependency can used as breeding material to improve new cultivar.
