Abstract (EN)

shelter, food, health. Because of energy, civilizations have been at war with each other throughout history. Fossil fuels have become expensive because of both a harmful fuel to nature and increasing costs. Therefore, renewable energy has entered our lives. Day by day, scientists are working on obtaining energy from renewable energy in various ways. The sun emits energy at a rate of 3,8x1023 kW per second. Only a small part of this total, about 1,8x1014 kW, is captured by our earth, which is located at a distance of about 150 million km from the sun. About 60% of this amount, ie 1.08x1014, reaches the earth. The rest is reflected back into space and absorbed by the atmosphere. Even if only 0.1% of this energy could be converted with an efficiency of only 10%, it would be four times the world's total generating capacity of about 3000 GW (Anonim 23). In this thesis, it is planned to investigate the working principles of solar cells (cells) in different structures, solar cell parameters such as IV curve, short circuit current and open circuit voltage, as well as factors affecting the efficiency of solar cells, characterization of solar cells and production stages of solar cells. In addition, it is aimed to lead future sources by compiling them in a single source.
