Özet (EN)
This research was carried out in Adana-Ceyhan province in a two-year study to determine the effect of bacteria inoculation and iron application rates on nodulation and yield of different peanut varieties. NC-7, Halisbey, Arıoğlu 2003, and Osmaniye 2005 varieties were used as the first crop in the study, which are grown as the most common varieties in Cukurova region. Three different iron rates (Fe0, Fe1: 5 ppm kgFe/da (Fe2SO4), Fe2: 10 kg Fe/da (Fe2SO4)) were applied and two different Rhizobium leguminosarum bacteria strains (B0: with no strain ? natural bacteria, B1: 380 bacteria strain) were used in the experiments. Root sampling, above ground plant sampling, and nodule sampling was done during the flowering stage of first crop peanut whereas root sampling, above ground plant sampling, and yield sampling was carried out during harvest.1st and 2nd year results showed that bacteria inoculation did not occur in the plants. Therefore, no significant effects were observed in N contents of nodulation, biomass, and various plant parts due to bacteria inoculation, either. In terms of iron application, however, different effects were found in the parameters evaluated, depending on the flowering stage, harvest time, and the pistachio variety used in the study. Differences were observed in the parameters of interest depending on the variety. Halisbes variety had the highest yield (694 kg/da), followed by Osmaniye 2005 (686 kg/da) and Arıoğu 2003 (644 kg/da) in the first year of the experiments whereas yield varied in the range of 700-721 kg/da in all three varieties in the second year while NC7 had a yield of 457 kg/da in the first year and 458 kg/da in the second year.
