Abstract (EN)

The study, which was conducted in Söke in landfield of Selim TANMAN by planted Carmen cotton variety in order to determine the effects of different doses and application methods of humik acid and application methods on yield, yield components and fiber quality parameters, was conducted in 2005 by divided parcels trial texture in random blocks. In this study, there were no significant differences among the application methods of humik acid. Underground application doses caused significant effects on early harvesting, weight of hundred seeds, boll weight and yield. The highest yield was obtained by dose of 200 g/da. Zinc application was conducted during 2006 by completely randomized block design to determine the effects on yield, yield components and fiber quality properties as well as to define the most suitable dose. In zinc application, differences between plant height, earliness and the number of nodes above the uppermost white flower were statistically significant, however, it was not found of importance in terms of fiber quality properties. Although application doses caused no difference on yield, the highest yield was obtained by dose of 75 g/da. There were no differences among the application doses in terms of the number of nodes above the uppermost white flower, but the highest value was occurred by dose of 75g/da. The highest early harvesting was occurred by control and it is determined that increasing dose application decreased the early harvesting.
