ABSTRACTANALYSIS ON CONSUMER BEHAVIOURS AT FAST FOOD RESTAURANTSGülçin ÖZLEYENM.Sc., Enstitute of Social SciencesDepartmant of Tourism and Hotel ManagementSupervisor: Asst.Prof. Mehmet Akif ÖncüJuly 2005, 116 pagesThe aim of this study is to define consumers? purchasing behaviours, preferencesand properties at fast food restaurants. This study includes informations about fast foodrestaurants and consumer behaviours. With this purpose; an application has been taken placeat McDonald?s in Kocaeli which is a fast food restaurant attached to international fast foodchain. 736 participants have filled out an questionnaire that is based on three parts and 40questions. According to data from this questionnaire, in particular, single, females, below 25ages prefer to go to fast food restaurants more than the others. ?Fast food? concept meansgenerally ?hamburger? for consumers. Students oftenly benefit from fast food restaurants.12:00 am- 16:00 pm is an interval that is mostly prefered to g oto fast food restaurants. Whilecleanliness of fast food restaurants is the most important priority for the participants to beattempted to go to these restaurants, freshness and taste follow this feature.Keywords: Food And Beverage Restaurants, Fast Food, Fast Food Restaurants,Consumer Behaviours
