Özet (EN)
This thesis aims to scrutinize the political combat and social relationships between the Ottoman Empire and Aqqoyunlu State in Fatih period. Due to their desire of political hegemony in Anatolia, these states come up against each other. Aqqoyunlu State tried to form alliance with some states to be successful against Ottoman Empire. On the other hand Ottoman intended to create a political hegemony by backing one behalf in the throne-fight in Aqqoyunlu State. Besides, Ottoman Empire allowed topmost people who escape from Aqqoyunlu State to shelter. The inevitable result of tense relationships in the process of encounters is Otlukbeli War. Although in the beginning of the war Aqqoyunlu got superiority, vigorous Ottoman army achieved to end the war victoriously. Vanquisher Ottoman Empire, eradicated a crucial threatening condition in the East. In terms of Aqqoyunlu State, Otlukbeli War became the starting point of dissolution process. Belonging to the same race and religion and being in the same geographical region provide the similarity of their culture on a large scale.
