Özet (EN)
The use of electrical and electronic devices is increasing rapidly. These devices generate serious electromagnetic interference that can degrade the performance of nearby devices and threaten human health. It can cause cancer and its derivatives in living organisms due to changes in cell structure as a result of long-term exposure. As seen in electromagnetic studies, it can cause irreversible damage to living organisms exposed to electromagnetic waves. Therefore, there is a need to absorb electromagnetic interference in order to prevent the negative effects of electromagnetic interference on human health and electronic devices. In this thesis, rigid polyurethane materials with 5%, 10% and 15% Fe2O3 by weight were produced. The physical properties and electromagnetic interference absorption performances of the produced materials were investigated. The prepared materials were characterized by Scanning Electron Microscopy/Energy Dispersive Spectrometer, X-Ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry and Thermogravimetric Analysis. The results showed that 15 wt% Fe2O3 doped rigid polyurethane in the S-band provided a reflection loss below -20 dB.
