Abstract (EN)

In the event of a short-circuit failure in the electricity distribution grid, the early trip of the circuit breaker close to the fault from the remote circuit breaker is called relay coordination. In grids where the energizing regime may change, relay coordination should be kept up to date. Otherwise undesired electricity outages will occur. In this thesis, it is aimed to keep the relay coordination in a dynamic state by using fuzzy logic methodology in order to prevent undesired electricity outages. The system was simulated in the PSCAD program and very close values are obtained with a real grid. Key words: Relay coordination, fuzzy logic, ring networks
