Reasons for the roots of Ancient Greek philosophy

The aim of this thesis is to invertigate why philosophy initially chose Ancient Greek society. Firstly, the periods when Ancient Greek society started to appear on the stage of history will be examined. Later, several centuries before Thales which was accepted as the beginning of science and philosophy will be analyzed. However the movements of thought in other civilizations will be inquired and whether these ideas are philosophical or moral knowledge will be questioned. İn addition, reasons behind why other societies could not achieve similar things and the same successes would be questioned when Greeks reached these achievements. İt will be investigated whether this success of the Ancient Greeks is unique and objective explaination will be made about how this success was obtained.
