Abstract (EN)

In this study, the economic position of women is discussed through feminist economics. Because Feminist economics advocates the enrichment of economic literature in a way that encompasses all different approaches that push women out of economics, in addition to approaches that make economics as a science that covers only men's point of view. In the mainstream of the mainstream economics and other approaches, women's labor did not appear in the studies and models without women were emphasized. In this context, the aim of this thesis is to explain the concept of literature and criticize the economic position of women in terms of feminist economics and offer solutions. The employment of women workforce in the world is increasing day by day. However, women face many problems such as gender discrimination in employment, inequality in wages, long hours of employment and sexual harassment. "Governments", "trade unions" and "international organizations" have developed policies to solve these problems and ensure social welfare and have continued to work today. The first part of this study, women and the economic relations, the definition of feminist economics concept in the second part, the emergence of, and the benefits and criticisms can provide and the last section examined the terms of women's working life feminist perspective in Turkey, addressed the future needs to be done for feminist economics.
