A research for effect to learning of science teachers' graduated faculty and programe

IV ABSTRACT A Research for Effect to Learning of Science Teachers' Graduated Faculty and Programe (M. Sc. Thesis) GAZİ UNIVERSYTY INSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONAL SCIENCES July, 2004 In this work which aimed to study worked in secondary schools science teachers' graduated faculties and departments effect on success in science lesson's subjects of the units at 6. and 7. classes. Sample of this work were 1282 student at 8. class who went to 26 schools center of city in Denizli and 94 science teachers who work in 37 schools include this 26 schools. In this work we used model of connectional research method. Firstly, students at 8. class were tested which was developed by investigator about subject of science lessons at 6. and 7. classes, and asked to write 6. and 7. classes of science on theirV papers. Teachers inquiried about personel informations. Stabilized teachers' graduated faculties and departments were releting to data of students. In this work, it was used independent samples t-test and analyses of one way Anova for testing hypothesis of research. According to result of this work, teachers' graduated faculties and departments were effectual on success in students' science lessons and it was observed that this effect was usually positive for subject of their graduated departments, but the effect was negative for the others. According to data of this work, teachers and their graduated faculties and departments were effectual on secondary schools' science education and instruction.
