Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the studies on interdisciplinary integration of the science curriculum with the mathematics, informatics, technology and art-related courses. In this context, in studies on interdisciplinary integration in our country, 3-8. outcomes for other disciplines associated with the outcomes of the science course curriculum were determined. Descriptive and content analysis was applied by collecting the data obtained in the research through document analysis which is one of the qualitative research methods. During the data collection process, primarily using Google Scholar, ULAKBIM, Dergipark, YÖK thesis etc. databases; the literature was reviewed by some keywords such as "Interdisciplinary integration", "STEM", "STEM education" "STEM teaching", "STEM applications" and so on. National publications (books, articles, theses and reports) obtained as a result of the literature review were examined and a total of 110 publications were included in the study in which science objectives at the level of 3-8 were made to associate with at least one of the courses in the fields of mathematics, informatics, technology and arts. The publications obtained were analyzed in detail according to the class level of the related associations, publication year, subject area/unit name, disciplines and publication type. The data obtained are presented in tables and graphics. In all types of publications, it is seen that the most common level of association with science subjects is at the sixth and seventh grades and the courses are "Mathematics" and "Technology and Design". In science, most associations were made with "physical events" and least with "world and universe" subject. Mostly "geometry and measurement", "geometry" and "numbers" from the Mathematics course, "engineering and design" from the Technology and Design course, "product design" and "development of innovative thinking and protection of ideas", "visual communication and shaping" from the Visual Arts course and information technologies", "product creation", "programming", "coding" and "software" from the Information Technologies and Software course. It is thought that these research findings will make a significant contribution to summarize the interdisciplinary integration studies in our country and the associations made with the science course so far, to make arrangements about the program, to guide researchers who want to work on this subject, to support teachers who want to prepare activities, to identify and discuss the deficiencies in the field and therefore, it is expected to shed light on new research.
