Abstract (EN)
In the study, it was aimed to determine a subject that students have difficulty in learning in the 2018 science lesson curriculum according to the opinions of the teachers through online interviews, to prepare an instructional design by editing it on the basis of current teaching methods, and to determine the effectiveness of the developed instructional design based on the opinions of the teachers. Situation analysis was used in the qualitative dimension of the research, and the scanning method was used in the quantitative dimension. The participants in the qualitative part of the study consist of 8 science teachers, and the study group in the quantitative part of the study consists of 112 science teachers. In the research, content analysis was used in the analysis of the semi-structured 1st and semi-structured 2nd individual interviews, and keyword analysis was used together with the content analysis in the analysis of the data obtained from the focus group interview. Through the first individual interviews and the opinion form created with the help of the data obtained from these interviews, the subject of the instructional design was determined as constant speed movement at the 6th grade level. After the instructional design and lesson plans of the relevant subject were completed with the support of current teaching methods, they were shared with 1 subject area expert, 2 science teachers and 5 science teachers who participated in the focus group interview in order to determine the effectiveness of the documents. In realizing the aim of determining the effectiveness of instructional designs based on teacher opinions, which is the last stage of the study, the studies prepared by the researcher were first conveyed to 2 science teachers and 1 field expert, and feedback was received that the studies were generally effective and usable in the process. After these feedbacks, focus group interviews were completed with 5 science teachers. After the science teachers expressed the deficiencies they saw in the study under the sub-title of "design deficiencies and suggested changes" in the focus group interview, the opinions that progress could be beneficial were obtained with the help of these suggestions expressed by the teachers in "suitability for the level". As a result of the focus group interview, it was concluded that our science teachers agreed that the designs were developed in accordance with the content, that there was no problem with the formal features of the instructional designs, and that the study was usable.
