Özet (EN)

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of science teachers' individual innovation levels, self-efficacy beliefs, and job satisfaction on their entrepreneurship levels. While conducting this research, the effects of teachers' gender, educational status, entrepreneurship education, years of service and socioeconomic status of the region where they work on their entrepreneurship levels, individual innovativeness levels, self-efficacy beliefs and job satisfaction were also examined. Focusing on the factors that influence teachers' entrepreneurial behavior, it was assumed that teachers must possess entrepreneurial behavior in an education system that aims to raise students with entrepreneurial behavior. The sample of the study in the relational screening model consists of 449 science teachers working in public schools in Adana during the 2023-2024 academic year. Science teachers were administered the Entrepreneurial Teacher Behavior Scale, the Individual Innovation Scale, the Teacher Self-Efficacy Beliefs Scale, and the Job Satisfaction Scale. The data obtained from the scales were analyzed using the SPSS 2025 program. The results of the study show that teachers' entrepreneurial behaviors are predicted by their individual innovation levels and self-efficacy beliefs, but there is no predictive relationship despite the low level of job satisfaction. It was found that an increase in teachers' educational levels and their participation in entrepreneurship training programs has an effect on their entrepreneurial behaviors and self-efficacy beliefs. The effect of years of service on the sub-dimension of entrepreneurial behavior related to initiative and the sub-dimension of innovation related to idea leadership was also observed. As years of service increase, teachers' self-efficacy beliefs and job satisfaction also increase. The socio-economic development (SED) of the region where teachers work affects their entrepreneurial behavior, self-efficacy, and job satisfaction. Keywords: Entrepreneurship, teacher entrepreneurship, ındividual innovation, self-efficacy, job satisfaction.
