The work of feristezade Abdulmecid-Named Iskname (Examination-text)

Hurûfîsm is one of the important schools of thought that lives since immemorial times in various forms and systemized thoroughly by FazlullahHurûfî, thus enlarged its sphere of influence in 14th century. Isk-name is an important work which is written by Feriştezâde Abdülmecid to translate Cavidân-nâme, which is one of the most important works of FazlullahHurûfî, into Turkish and several copies of which can be found in Anatolia In this study, life and works of FazlullahHurûfî who is the founder of Hurûfîsm, life and works of Feriştezâde Abdülmecid who is the writer of the text, and Hurûfîsm has been discussed briefly followed by examination of the text called Isk-name in terms of content and style, and transcription of it.
