Abstract (EN)

Qazvin which was conquered in the year 24(323) is the one of the Jibal (central Persia) cities. The city gained importance either by its establishment in the era of Sassanids or became a sûgur of the Daylam Region which was not captured for a long time after being incorporated into the Islamic lands. We see that it was supported by the immunity from taxation and endowments as well as the physical and architecture labors since the conquest of Qazvin which came to the fore with its military functions. All of that were acted a part of the development of the Qazvin and the cities which were governed banded to Qazvin such as Zanjan, Abhar and Talakan. The city was affected by the rebellions which were occurred in the second period of Abbasids and was entered under the local government from time to time. Qazvin was developed by gaining socia-cultural and scientific value beyond military and political events. Since the era of the Hazrat Uthman especially by the labors in the era of Abbasids Qazvin was taken the form of Islamic city. The military-scholars contributed to Qazvin by coming from nearby cities and military camp cities such as Kûfa and Basra. In this context, we wish for this study, in which we consider its religious, sectarian, social and scholarly developments, will contribute to the history of the city of Qazvin and the region it is in.
