Abstract (EN)

It is not known exactly by whom and when Fethiye's former name, Hasanbadrık, was founded. It was located at the junction of the Syrian – Malatya, Gürün – Kayseri, Hekimhan – Sivas historical roads, where the Silk Road - Copper Road Caravans stayed. in 1655, Evliya Çelebi, who passed this way with the army under the command of Melek Ahmet Pasha, gave information about Hasanbadrik as "The people of this village are also Şahseven". Today, it is a neighborhood of the Yazihan district of Malatya province. It received the status of municipality in 1998, and in 2012, Malatya gained metropolitan status with the Law No. 6360, and Fethiye became a neighborhood. Fethiye is a place in Malatya known for its Alevism. Alevism means "belonging to Ali" in the dictionary. The term Alevi was used in the history of Islamic culture by Hz. It means descendants of Ali, and this concept has also been used in a political, mystical and theological sense. Fethiye Alevism; They define the "essence of Islam" since the time of the Prophet, with concepts such as truthfulness, honesty, and a humane life. Although it is gradually disappearing, this is the living place of people who have adopted traditional Alevism and are trying to live. There are people who belong to very different quarries in Fethiye. These quarries; We can list them as Seyyid Ali Sultan (Kızıldeli) Quarry, Uryan Hızır Quarry, Teslim Abdal (Şeyh Ahmet Dede) Quarry, Hacım Sultan Quarry, Şah İbrahim Veli Quarry and Aliseydi Sultan Quarry. With this feature, the region has a very important place in terms of Alevism studies. Especially the Sayyid Ali Sultan (Kızıldeli) mausoleum, located in Upper Tenci, which is very close to Fethiye (about 3 km), is one of the most important faith centers of Fethiye. Keywords: Fethiye, Hasanbadrık, Alevism, Kızıldeli, Seyyid Ali Sultan
