Abstract (EN)
1950s are the years on which, due to the social and political changes, the reforms in literature were strongly lived as well. The 1950 Generation narration which is one of the most important changes of these reforms is an important milestone in Turkish Literature. This Generation was impressed by the existentialism and surrealism which had emerged in the West. Thus, it is possible to see the impressions of this literary and philosophical mentality on the stories of this generation. While all these were happening in Turkey, in the very early 1950s, Feyyaz Kayacan, who was living abroad and following the Turkish Literature from there, started to emerge on the magazines with the stories he wrote under the influence of existentialism and surrealism. The stories which Kayacan, who published 6 story books, wrote with his imaginary and abstract language based on irony provided him with a unique place in Turkish Literature. Key Words: Feyyaz Kayacan, 1950 Generation, Turkish narratıon, story.
