Özet (EN)
The filaments used in 3D printers are produced in extrusion machines. In general, temperature sensitivity is of great importance in filament production. Since the filament production process takes minutes, it is difficult to achieve the desired temperature sensitivity with traditional PID control on-off relay or contactor. Even if the temperature measurements of these devices are sensitive, they work with a sensitivity of ±5° C, since the response of the system and the heater controls are not suitable for filament extrusion. This sensitivity is quite low for filament extrusion systems. As a result of this, problems such as burning, brittleness, low diameter sensitivity occur in the molten plastic during temperature fluctuations. In this study, a PID controller with SSR (Solid State Relay) output, using sensitive temperature measurement, keeping the temperature of the plastic at the adjusted value ±1°C was designed. With the experimental results made in the developed extrusion machine, the desired temperature sensitivity was achieved and high-quality filament production was realized
